Raktamokashan is a specialized Ayurvedic treatment in which unwanted morbid blood remove from the body. It can be perform with different techniques.

Procedures included in this package are as follows

• Medicated leeches used to remove morbid blood.
• Needles are used to let out the unwanted blood.
• Cupping therapy is also one of the methods used to remove impure blood.

First the patient is made to lie down on the Droni or massage table. Leeches are applying over the affected area and let them suck the impure blood. It is very smooth process and can be apply in any condition and any age of patient.

Bloodletting can be done with sharp needles in specific conditions. First the patient is made to lie down on the Droni or massage table. In this process we are going to tie up the tourniquet near the affected area and make the vein torched and elevated.  Then we prick the torched vein and let out the blood from vein. It is recommended only in strong patient. 

Cupping therapy also advised in strong patient. In this process we should take a cut over the affected area and put the cupping instrument over it. It creates the vacuum inside the cup and due to which blood from the wound is start to oozing out.

Duration: 45 Minutes to 1 hour.
